Bubble sheets carry a student number you match to your own roster — never a name. Photos of the stack are read once and never stored. When Compose reads a handwritten answer, it keeps only the right-or-wrong you confirm — never the handwriting, and never a transcription of it. Accommodation profiles save the accommodation, not the student. Compose has no roster, no gradebook, and nothing to leak. Where your money goes
Nearly all of a Pro subscription pays for the work Compose does for you — reading your PDFs page by page, rewording and re-proving every version, proofreading your bank, drafting sub days and lessons from your own material, and reading the written answers you photograph. Drafting a lesson is the most expensive thing Compose does. Shuffled versions cost almost nothing to make, which is why they stay free forever.
